FAULT FINDING AND TROUBLE SHOOTING

Problem – Clutch release bearing jam , clutch diaphragm spring premature wear
Symptom – Difficulty in engagement and disengagement.
Symptom – Difficulty to engage especially 5th and reverse gear.
Symptom – Clutch drag
Symptom – Clutch slipping
Cause – Driver resting foot on the clutch pedal.
Cause – Clutch bearing riding / sitting on the diaphragm.
Cause – Not enough travel between the bearing and diaphragm
Solution – Always replace the clutch disc , pressure plate and clutch release bearing.
Solution – Rebuilding your clutch.
